St Petersburg, Russia
It should come as no surprise that I don’t carry my DSLR when I’m out and about. Petersburg has all the hallmarks of a modern European tourist hotspot – like the metro, terrible traffic, and pickpockets. Between thieves with itchy fingers on Nevsky Prospect and the weight of my Russian textbooks, my GoPro has been getting a lot of use of late. I’d like to think it’s doing a pretty good job of capturing small slices of life in Piter over the last week – what I get up to after class, the canals, cafés, and all the little moments that seem too ordinary to worry about things like aperture.
